Privacy Policy
This policy describes how BCSAF stores and shares information.
Any personal information (like your address, phone number, email address, or
details about an advocacy problem) that you give to any staff or Board member
at BCSAF will only be used in ways that you say are okay. It will never be given
to others unless you agree. This includes information you give us in writing, in
person, by email, over the phone, or through our website.
We will tell you how we will use the information when you give it to us, or before
you give it to us. We will not use it for any other reason without asking for your
permission.
Sometimes we may decide to give some of your personal information to
someone else (like to a company who we have asked to mail out information for
us). Before we give them your information we will make sure that they promise
not to share your information with others.
The only time we would give out your personal information without your
permission is if we had to by law.
When you give us permission to use your personal information, you have the
right to change your mind at any time. As soon as you tell us that you donʼt want
us to use your information in a certain way, we will stop.
If you have any questions about how we store or use your personal information,
we will gladly share all our rules and policies. Also, if you would like to know what
information we do have about you, we will show you at any time.
Our Privacy Policy follows all the laws and regulations set out by both the
Provincial and Federal governments.
