Richard McDonald

My name is Richard McDonald. I have been a member of the BC Self Advocacy Foundation for many years. I live in my own apartment in the community of New Westminster. This is my second time living in New Westminster.

I was in Woodlands from 1952 to 1962. After leaving Woodlands, I lived in Tranquille from 1962 – 1970. After leaving the Interior of BC, I move to Powell River from 1970 - 2002. Since that time I have lived in the Lower Mainland. I am a strong advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. I am very active and I don’t see myself slowing down anytime soon.
